Responsibilities

We are looking for a UX Researcher for our multi-disciplinary design team that includes User Experience Designers, User Researchers, and User Assistance Developers.

As part of a small product research team, you will:

  • Conduct user research on SAP Datasphere and related products, working collaboratively with key members of the product team.
  • Represent the needs of customers across the product and design lifecycle from discovery through design validation and customer adoption.
  • Craft materials for research activities, such as research plans, moderation guides and workshop templates that align methods and scope with needs and constraints, then run the research sessions.
  • Synthesize and analyze data and findings, developing actionable insights, outputs and frameworks for both short term and long-term research needs.
  • Balance research rigor with agility to deliver timely, useful results.
  • Design compelling and digestible deliverables for product stakeholders, focused on storytelling and highlighting important insights for next steps.
  • Collaborate with other researchers, designers, product managers and engineers to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Work with stakeholders to monitor success metrics and help design and product leaders continuously improve the experience.
  • Analyze and improve our team’s research processes.

You’ll work with UX Designers, Technical Writers, Product Managers, and Engineers located in Walldorf and across multiple time zones around the world.
