QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a UI/UIX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio. demonstrating your design skills, including web and mobile app designs.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with motion design or animation for user interactions.
  • Familiarity with conducting user research and analyzing data to inform design decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, beautiful, and functional user experiences for our web and mobile applications. As our founding designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our overall design vision, establishing design standards, and driving the strategic design roadmap. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end design solutions that address user needs and business objectives while laying the foundation for a strong design culture within the company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Design low- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that illustrate user interactions and design concepts.
  • Create visually appealing and consistent interfaces using design principles such as typography, colour theory, and layout.
  • Ensure designs are responsive and accessible.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with business goals, and meet technical requirements.
  • Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design concepts, gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on insights.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and evolving project requirements.
  • Keep up with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve your skill set and the team’s design processes.
