This role is part of the Product, Design & Marketing team on Apple Services, which includes a range of apps and services spanning productivity, entertainment, cloud, and commerce. We're looking for a UX writer to design and shape experiences for Apple TV. You're a brilliant problem solver and excellent communicator with a passion for language. You recognize how words shape the user experience not just through meaning, but also their visual impact and emotional resonance. You’ll join a team of writers in pursuit of creating expressive, intuitive, and collaborative experiences that set new standards for the industry and connect people in meaningful ways. DESCRIPTION The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As the UX Writer dedicated to Apple TV, your responsibilities will include: * Writing end-to-end flows and other in-product copy across platforms * Designing features alongside cross-functional partners * Collaborating to define and execute the product roadmap * Developing style and tonal guidance for features and generated content * Leading discussions on naming, terminology, and messaging * Presenting work to senior leaders and incorporating feedback MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 6+ years professional UX writing experience Experience writing for media streaming services and an understanding of subscription-based services Experience writing in-product copy across platforms, including mobile, desktop, and web Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, including information architecture Enthusiasm for an interactive writing process, including writing from scratch, editing existing copy, and considering language in the context of digital experiences Ability to advocate for users through thoughtful, intuitive language while also meeting business needs Strong prioritization skills with an ability to manage several projects simultaneously and dynamically reprioritize as needed Strong ability to present and defend writing choices in large forums, including executive reviews Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate feedback from multiple senior leaders Experience leveraging UX writing systems and familiarity with industry standards Fluency with design tools like Sketch and working with functional specs and wireframes Familiarity with LLM training and conversational experiences such as chatbots or AI-driven interfaces, including dialogue and prompts PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Creating structured training data for developing and evaluating large language models Experience managing or overseeing contract work Strong sense of Apple’s design, human interface, and editorial standards Familiarity with the Apple Sports app and/or a general interest in sports Understanding of writing optimized for accessibility and localization Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers
