What you’ll do

As a UX Writer at TicketSwap, you’ll bring your content-first perspective to designing our user experience. Here’s a glimpse of what that includes:

  • Design content with the team for web and mobile, including microcopy, interaction flows, error messages, notifications, and in-product messaging across our user experience
  • Collaborate closely with UX Writers, Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and our UX Researcher on the daily to shape the strategy and UX concepts from ideation to delivery
  • Manage localization into 11 languages of all your content designs, along with our UX Writing & Localization Manager, Junior UX Writer and external freelance team of skilled translators
  • Keep a close eye on quality assurance of our content and localization in our TMS, connected CMS and localization management tools
  • Shape your content using TicketSwap’s tone of voice to strike the right tone and bring our brand voice and consistency into your work
  • Document and share processes, workflows, feedback history, and content strategy decisions for clear communication across teams
  • Present your work at design critiques to actively give and receive feedback with UX Writers, Designers, UX Researcher and other stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to the UX Writing team’s roadmap and goals, such as content guidelines, glossaries, developing content patterns, audits and more
  • Support the Customer Experience, Marketing and Legal teams in optimizing and localizing content like FAQs, chatbot flows, SEO, in-app wording and email/push notifications

REQUIRED FOR YOUR APPLICATION:

A portfolio with examples of your UX writing/content design skills. We’re looking for app content, website content designs, product marketing campaigns – anything that clearly shows off your love of words in the UX field so we can get a feel for your style

About you

  • You’re a seasoned UX Writer with around 5 years’ hands-on experience in UX writing and localization management – you’ve got a solid point-of-view about writing, languages and user experience
  • You’re available 40 hours per week, speak native (or C1) English, and any additional languages are a plus
  • You’re analytical and experimental, using data to back your decisions
  • You prioritize your own work autonomously, are eager to collaborate, and actively reach out for support when needed
  • You’re comfortable presenting your writing approach to stakeholders and find enjoyment in documenting your thinking, sharing your work, and getting feedback
  • You have empathy, an appreciation for humour, and an affinity for the events scene
  • You bring strong project management skills and are able to juggle cross-team collaboration with your UX writing workload
  • You’ve got experience with tools like Figma, Lokalise, Intercom, and/or other content management and design tools
  • You’re based in The Netherlands, are an EU resident, or have an existing visa to work here (a relocation package isn’t available)
