POSTE ET MISSIONS
In collaboration with your supervisor, your main tasks will be:
- Provide support to the Head of the Middle East Finance Distribution and Portfolio Management and more specifically:
- For Plain Vanilla Financing (PVF), GT Trade Finance and GT CCSF with clients covered by Dubai Coverage:
- Draft opinions for Business and Credit Committees for new transactions, including refinancing and increase of limits;
- Assist Origination with credit applications: review the financial analysis, the computation of the rating and the RWA impact;
- Perform the credit risk analysis and process the credit application;
- Carry annual reviews (in due time), revise limits and ratings;
- Manage waivers;
- Seek to anticipate risk evolution across the PVF portfolio and assess / recommend / action risk mitigation options (including through secondary sales, insurances, …);
- Manage WL files in conjunction with DRAS and Origination.
- For the overall Middle East Portfolio:
- With the support of SAO, analyze the risk components of the portfolio (including sectors, concentrations), its profitability in market context and seek to anticipate their evolution;
- Follow-up and coordinate with Sales and Origination the secondary reductions actions;
- Monitor and challenge the GWF and the overall portfolio temperature;
- Assist in the preparation of various reports and presentations as required, including quarterly BR, budgets, strategic forecasts as well as various projects related to portfolio allocation and optimization
- Challenge if appropriate and review at least annually OREs;
- Perform portfolio analysis using the TWO to identify facilities considered for RWA and Liquidity optimization, evaluate sales prices and EVA/RAROE metrics; seek to optimize the portfolio in terms of both risk and return;
- Monitor the key indicators (Liquidity, NBI, RWA, EVA, Net Margins) of the portfolio including a looking forward vision for Business Reviews, Sectorial Committees, budget purposes and for optimization decisions;
- Coordinate with DPM Head Office colleagues for all Platform-based analysis, reporting and forecasting of specific bank wide initiatives (strategic plan, etc.);
- Collaborate with Asset Optimization on a broad range of tasks including asset allocation, regulatory evolution, shortfall follow-up, secondary sales, LGD model review/update, stress testing, etc.
- Distribution:
- Assist in providing a local input on new deals being underwritten in the region within DPM scope (ENR / Real Asset / Corp);
- Help contribute to develop new avenues for distribution / placement and provide a full investors’ mapping for distribution of local deals and those of other platforms in coordination with the ACS team;
- Assist in developing an overview of local investors investment criteria and pass intelligence to the specialized product line syndicate teams.
PROFIL ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES
We are seeking candidates who hold a Master’s degree in Finance.
We are looking for individuals with excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work in a multicultural setting is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required, and knowledge of VBA is a plus, as modeling and task automation are part of the role.
