Job Description Responsible for Consultancy services to the Clients (Owner or Lender), related to Renewable Energy projects For Owner’s Engineer services (Site Assessment and (pre) Feasibility Study, Systems Design review, Works management, support during Operation): Data collection by deskwork and site visit, Conducting project (pre)feasibility System pre design & Optimization Tender management: drafting / updating technical specifications for EPC/Contractor selection; Evaluation of tenders (for Technical and commercial terms) Design review following International and National Standards Construction management, Measurement when need be (i.e. for Solar: PR testing, IV test, IR drone; test of solar panels) Assistance during operation Other tasks for Technical Due diligence services may include: Prepare Data collection list, Site selection & site visits (installation quality review; O&M review) Review of capabilities of developer Energy Yield Assessment (review) Design review (including Key technology review; wind mast structure assessment; Structural report review and Load profile analysis) Curtailment estimate, Grid Availability Contracts review (technical and commercial terms) Financial model: assumptions review (CAPEX, OPEX, curtailment, yield, degradation) O&M Technical AM review (performance, O&M reports, O&M procedures and efficiency) Review status of permits, licenses, and approvals Qualifications Basic education: Engineer Experience: Renewable Energy & South East Asia Skills: Degree in M&E, power or equivalent qualification Sound experience in design / development / construction / operation of wind and/or solar and/ or hydropower projects; good knowledge of IEC standards Excellent verbal, written, computer, and technical communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project, AutoCad Familiarity with Solar PV system simulation using PVsyst or other PV software.
