Job Details: Job Summary: The V&V Sr. Engineering Consultant role is responsible for end-to-end manual testing of devices and systems, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting. The role involves close collaboration with engineering teams and customers, ensuring high-quality releases with minimal defects. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports Perform device, system, API, and database testing Conduct end-to-end and exploratory testing Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA/TestRail Ensure requirements traceability and test coverage Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders Participate in test reviews and customer discussions Support test environment setup and validation Skills, knowledge, and experience: Essential: Five (5)+ years in manual testing / QA, preferably in product environments Strong experience in device testing (mandatory) Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman/Swagger, etc.) Experience in database testing (SQL queries, data validation) Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies Experience with test case design and execution Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, and Confluence Basic Linux/Unix command knowledge (preferred) Desirable: Experience in the transport/automotive domain Knowledge of TCP/IP, serial communication Exposure to Agile/Scrum The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
