Description
Kemps is a subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America(DFA), Rochester Ice Cream Plant Freezer opening 9pm start time Under the direction of department Supervisor/Leadperson. Work in freezer: Palletize bundles of ice cream in freezer environment. Use of a forklift to transport product from palletizing to staging area. Take product from freezer staging area and load trucks with forklift. Other duties as assigned. Starting wage of $22.75/hour, 6 months $29.58 and reach scale at 12 months of $31.08 Includes excellent benefits and 401K HS Diploma or GED required. Previous Manufacturing experience, preferred. Qualifications HS Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience, preferred. The ability to use simple writing, adding and subtracting. the ability to carry out instructions. Some mechanical ability needed.
Responsibilities
The role involves palletizing bundles of ice cream in a freezer environment and using a forklift to transport products. Additional duties include loading trucks with the forklift and other tasks as assigned.
