The Pediatric Center for Wellness is seeking a dynamic Vaccine Administrator to care for our patients. This role will support the Care Team and will be responsible for recording vaccines in the patient's chart as well as GRITS and providing emotional support for patients and families when needed. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant Experience in a Pediatric office setting Proper administration technique of vaccines Working knowledge of pediatric vaccine schedule Knowledge of GRITS system Prepare & administer vaccines according to office policy and procedure Works with Providers, Medical Assistants and patients to provide vaccine administration in the office Monitor vaccine protocols and processes for compliance with Vaccines for Children Give VIS Sheets Work as a Medical Assistant as needed Perform routine procedures (blood pressure, administering injections) and documenting patient charts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
The Vaccine Administrator will support the Care Team by recording vaccines in patient charts and providing emotional support to patients and families. They will also monitor vaccine protocols and processes for compliance with Vaccines for Children.
