VACUUM TRUCK OPERATOR/DRIVER

POSITION SUMMARY

Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Boom Truck Driver to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Boom Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries and pick ups of material to locations
This position is a fulltime position and will be based out of our Blackfalds location.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 Years Experience with Drilling or Completions Truck Driving
• Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment as well as on-going pre-access drug and alcohol tests
• Desire in working as a part of a team

Working Conditions

• Primarily Plant/Refinery/ Drilling and Completion
• Flexible rotation schedule
• Majority of work sites are located in Central Alberta – Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan to Southern Alberta mainly in Calgary & Carseland. Occasional work may be required in Saskatchewan and British Columbia

• Checks the oil and starts the truck for warm up
• Operate/Maintain Manitex 4596 Crane
• Contact dispatch to ensure clear directions
• Hook up truck and trailer(s) as needed: deck off
• Complete a pre-trip inspection as required by Federal Health OH&S Legislation/ E-Logs
• Ensures safe condition of equipment (chains, boomers, sling, etc.)
• Ensures maintenance of Certificates required for Lifting and Rigging
• Loading, unloading lifting and lowering of equipment as per boom truck operator training
• Must comply with all client and legislative rules as required by the job
• Other related duties as required;
