Valet Attendant - Country Club Clayton Valet is looking to add more prompt, polite, and professional valet attendants for our country club location. Valet Attendants would be responsible for safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and greeting guests with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both relaxed- and fast-paced environments for special events and eager to assist. Compensation/Benefits: * $18/hr * 401(k) 4% Match - available after 3 months of employment * Health/Vision/Dental/Life Insurance - available after working 1 year of FT hours * PTO plan available after hire * Holiday Pay (Time and a half for select holidays) * Weekly Pay Shifts Available: * Friday - Saturday * Evenings * 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. * Additional hours available for occasional special events. Locations: * St. Louis, MO Primary Job Responsibilities: * Effectively and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without incidents * Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested * Promote good customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to assist, and a smile * Uses and maintains valet equipment properly, including keeping equipment and work area clean and organized * Stand for a period of up to 8 hours * Observe and practice safety precautions at all times * Open doors for all guests * Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: * Must have a valid driver’s license * Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check - no felonies * Must have a clean driving record within the last 3 years * Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills * Proficient in English, both verbally and written * High school diploma or GED * Always maintain a professional appearance * Able to perform physical activities such as running, lifting up to 30lbs, and bending * Must be able to work in all elements (i.e., rain, snow, sunshine) * Must have reliable transportation * Tattoos must be concealable
