Description The Moorings Yacht & Country Club is hiring Valet Attendants! Part-time evening and weekend work. This is an hourly wage plus tips position. Basic Function: Responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to members and guest when they arrive and leave club valet. Distribute valet tickets to members and guest and park/retrieve vehicle in an efficient, safe and timely manner. Essential duties and responsibilities: The following job duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Greet arriving and departing guests, opening passenger door(s) and offering assistance, when appropriate. 2. Provides claim check and instructs members/guests on how to reclaim vehicle. 3. Parks guest vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner. 4. Retrieves members/guests’ vehicles from specified areas in a safe and efficient manner. 5. Provides direction and information on property events and specified dining venues. 6. Provides accurate and timely documentation and reports of departmental activities and status including claim checks, vehicle damage, statements, and conditions which required attention and or repair. 7. Obeys all traffic laws on property. 8. Promotes the courteous treatment of customers; resolves members or guest’s service issues. 9. Opens the doors and greets the members and/or guests upon arrival. Opens passenger door(s) and offers assistance, if appropriate. Same applies for member departures. 10. Ensures the Club is shown in a clean and tidy manner. Front entrance must be clean of any debris; doors and windows must be clean and presentable at all times. All trash receptacles must be emptied on a daily basis. 11. Other duties assigned by Head Valet or Facilities Maintenance Manager. Requirements Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses: Must have valid Florida drivers' license. *Must be age 21 or older Skills: Strong communication and cooperative skills. Positive interpersonal, customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Valet Attendants are responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to members and guests at the club. They greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and ensure the club's entrance is clean and presentable.
