Job Details Job Location: Casino - Tuolumne, CA 95379 Position Type: Hourly with Tips Salary Range: $18.00 SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting and welcoming all Guests and safely parking and retrieving Guests vehicles while ensuring professionalism at all times. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to) Acts professionally with Guests and Team Members, and provides excellent Guest service at all times. Assists Guests promptly and courteously with Valet Check-in and Check-out procedures. Opens vehicle doors for all Guests. Visually inspects Guests’ vehicles upon receipt, and at the time of retrieval, for any vehicle damage. Accurately notes all damage before moving a vehicle, and immediately reports any subsequent damage to the Supervisor/Designee. Provides Guests with Claim Checks for their vehicles. Delivers and retrieves Guest vehicles as quickly and safely as possible, may include running if necessary. Obeys all speed limits, traffic laws, and vehicle operation policies of Black Oak Casino. Secures Guest vehicles properly by locking doors and windows and setting the parking brake. Answers all Guest questions about Valet, Hotel Registration, Casino events, Facilities, Restaurants, etc. Upholds cleanliness of all work stations and areas. Reports any Safety/Security related incident or potential incident to Supervisor/Designee and Public Safety Dispatch. Assists in directing and maintaining the proper flow of traffic. Directs self-parking Guests to appropriate parking spaces. Offers and provides assistance transporting luggage, strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, and other baggage to and from vehicles and carts. Prepares requisitions for any supplies as needed to keep the Valet operations properly stocked and ready for business. Reports cash tips in accordance with IRS tip reporting rules and Black Oak Casino policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Must possess a cooperative and friendly nature. Must have the ability to communicate and follow directions effectively. Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and a Black Oak Casino driver’s permit. Must be able to communicate using 2-way radios and/or cell phones. Must have the ability to understand and carry out instructions in written or oral form. Must possess a working knowledge of computer programs and applications, and be able to utilize advance cellular technology. Must be able to drive vehicles of various makes and models. Must maintain a neat and professional appearance that is in compliance with Black Oak Casino policies. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test. Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license. Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English. Physical Demands: Must be physically able to perform all job requirements. Required to lift 50 lbs and occasionally more with assistance. Required to wear protective equipment such as mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, weather gear, etc. Required to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to vibration, dust, gas, steam or chemicals. Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment. Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must be able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
The Valet is responsible for greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and ensuring a high level of guest service. They must also inspect vehicles for damage and assist with luggage and other guest needs.
