Description The Pacific Club is NO tip facility. Position Summary Valet Attendants have the first opportunity to provide our members/ guests with a warm greeting and send them home with a fond farewell. They will park guests’ vehicles safely and expediently in an organized fashion. They must always demonstrate professionalism in appearance and attitude for the Valet Attendant is the first person a member/ guest sees when they arrive. They must demonstrate caring and respect for each member/guest to ensure a courteous experience. Essential Duties Helps members/guests in and out of automobiles; open lobby doors in a timely fashion Parks automobiles for members and guests Summons and dispatches taxis Provides travel information Prevent unauthorized people from entrance Issues and collects automobile claim tickets Maintain clean and safe entrance and parking lots Assists members and guests with luggage The most significant duties have been included in this description. This does not preclude the assignment of occasional additional or developmental duties. Requirements Education Requirements/Preferred High School Graduate or General Education Degree Desirable Work Experience Required/Preferred 6 months valet experience at a high-end property Previous customer/guest services a plus Required Certification(s) Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record
Responsibilities
Valet Attendants greet members and guests warmly and park their vehicles safely and efficiently. They also assist with luggage and ensure a clean and safe entrance and parking area.
