Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is looking for a Valet Supervisor to join our team. As a Valet Supervisor you will ensure the safe and efficient parking operations of the hotel, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous experience working in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in the parking and hospitality industry preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Valet Supervisor experience, hotel/hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Valet with employees’ schedules, coach and counsel, training and disciplinary action where necessary. Evaluate on-the-job performance.
  • Oversee staff to ensure crews are utilizing department practices for consistency.
  • Greet arriving and departing employee and guests.
  • Retrieve guest vehicles from specified areas in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service culture expectations are met.
  • Interface with other departments in order to meet guests, and prospective requests.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.
