Description Legacy Parking is looking to add a Valet Supervisor to one of our properties in Coral Gables! Assist in the day-to-day management of the Valet Operations of a location under the direction of the Manager adhering to the company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations, and promoting a professional image. Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to: • Make sure front-line employees are delivering the company’s standards of service with each parker transaction and doing it safely • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to their direct manager. • Maintain a clean drive with no staging of vehicles. • Greets guests in a friendly manner (ideally by name) and is responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution during the shift. • Collect, secure vehicle keys, and ensure proper placement of keys in key booth. • Perform shift change audits of key inventory, vehicle locations, and car counts. • Ensure payment is collected through revenue collection system. • Complete damage check on each vehicle as it enters and exits the drive • Create customer service plan with project manager to make patrons wait times more enjoyable. • Utilize log for all charge-offs, free, and refunded parking fees. • Balance change fund (pre-paid cards) after each shift. • Notify manager of any damage claims immediately. • Utilize a proactive approach to the position. If you see an improvement that can be made. Notify the team of that suggestion. • Properly utilize the valet technology system to optimize a fluid operation • Assign parks and retrievals to runners to ensure organization Minimum Job Qualifications High School degree required. One year related experience. Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence. Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner. Have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer. Qualifications Desired Have thorough knowledge of the major streets, local landmarks and highway entrances in the geographical area around the facility. Ability to resolve customer issues, as applicable. Excellent customer service skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, to possibly include nights/weekends/holidays as required Maintain a safe driving record free of violations or accidents. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
