POSITION SUMMARY: The Valet Supervisor at The Colcord plays a key role in delivering a world-class guest experience by overseeing the valet team and ensuring seamless, professional service. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES: Efficiently and safely park all vehicles in designated areas, ensuring each vehicle has been locked while in our possession and keys have been secured in valet booth. Efficiently and safely retrieve all vehicles, announce guest/party name and match claim ticket numbers to ensure delivery of the correct vehicle to each guest. Assist with loading of passengers and luggage, inquire if guest needs directions, clean the front vehicle windshield and offer an appropriate departing comment. Monitor and maintain the appearance and overall cleanliness of the front drive and parking areas. Inform guests/visitors of parking services and fees, issue a claim ticket, direct them to their intended destination and offer an appropriate closing comment. Offer luggage assistance as needed or requested. Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, or transportation terminals, by hand or using baggage carts. Supply guests or travelers with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest. Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs. Anticipate guest needs when possible and exhibit a sincere desire to meet or exceed them. Always speak professionally and graciously, smile, and maintain eye contact. Possess thorough knowledge of the location/hotel services, outlets and daily functions/events to proactively inform guests/visitors. Respond to all guest/visitor inquiries and resolve service discrepancies accordingly. Display a professional posture and post up in designated area on front drive. Maintain an assertive awareness of the front drive area and look for opportunities to initiate service. Promptly greet all vehicle passengers that arrive to the front drive by opening all occupied vehicle doors and offering them a warm and sincere welcome. Open and close all vehicle doors for guests/visitors arriving/departing the location. Obtain guest/visitor name and inquire as to the nature of their visit. Safely run/jog to and from parking areas when retrieving and parking vehicles. Inspect the exterior of each incoming vehicle and note any damage on the ticket. Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned. Requirements PHYICAL DEMANDS: Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds. Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4-hours in length. Running up to 500 yards, up to 50+ times a day or more. Entering and exiting customers' vehicles up to 50 or more times daily. Willing to work outside in all types of weather. Shifts will not be cancelled due to inclement weather and all associates will be required to attend their scheduled shifts. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of valet, and/or customer service experience. REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Comfortable, closed toe, non-skid shoes. Must have a clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older. With no more than one moving violation over a 2-year period. Must pass annual MVR screen.
