Description

Job Summary** Ensure the accuracy and reliability of manufacturing processes by performing comprehensive validation and calibration inspections of equipment and instrumentation within a food production environment. Job Responsibilities** * Conduct routine and non-routine calibration of various instruments, including but not limited to temperature sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, and scales, following established procedures and standards. * Perform validation activities for new and existing equipment, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and internal quality standards. * Generate and maintain accurate calibration and validation records, reports, and documentation. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve calibration and validation discrepancies or issues. * Assist in the development and improvement of calibration and validation procedures. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of calibrated and validated equipment into manufacturing operations. * Participate in internal and external audits related to calibration and validation activities. * Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * Operate and maintain calibration equipment and tools. Job Qualifications** * Minimum of a Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. * Proven experience (1-3 years) in calibration and validation within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry. * Strong understanding of calibration principles, methodologies, and measurement uncertainty. * Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 17025, GMP, HACCP). * Proficiency in using calibration software and equipment. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
