At Telensa, we are looking for a Validation Engineer Apprentice to join our team in our office in Cambridge (Pampisford).

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Validation Engineer Apprentice in Cambridge with Telensa.
This Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to experience from day one what is like to be an integral part of our team in fast paced working environment. You will learn about all technical aspects of our smart Outdoor Lighting Control products including the product’s firmware behaviour and how to go about testing in an R&D development environment.

You’ll learn to take our Outdoor Lighting Control nodes and base station products and build experience with the following activities:

• Loading firmware images
• Device configuration
• Device calibration
• Preparation of test samples including soldering skills
• Conducting System Tests
• Capturing and interpretation of logs
• Verification of intended device behavior
• Creation of test strategies to evaluate firmware changes
• Assist with verification testing of new products and develop your diagnosis and fault-finding skill
