VALIDATION OFFICER

Our client is a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Wallasey / Birkenhead area.
Due to continued growth, they are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Validation Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers external training in Validation. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

The candidate will have a degree in chemistry or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a validation role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The Validation officer will have a good knowledge of Quality Control processes and procedures

• Develop and compile validation protocols.
• Conduct equipment qualification and process validation activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of validation activities.
• Support the Quality Manager as needed.
• Train production staff in in-process control and provide coaching on Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
• Promote the Quality Management System (QMS) by coaching staff on the correct use of SOPs, documentation, and working practices.
• Support staff during investigations using problem-solving techniques.
• Assist in the deployment and implementation of new documentation.
• Support on-site customer and external audits by notified bodies.
• Perform internal and supplier audits in alignment with the audit plan.
• Collect data for preparing quality metrics.
• Provide QA support across departments to ensure compliance with the QMS, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in managing changes through the appropriate use of change controls, communication, and training.
