Valmet Project Summer Trainee Program is targeted for students who want to grow their knowledge of international project work in a practical environment alongside their studies. Trainees work in Valmet project departments in different business lines. As a Project summer trainee at Valmet, you will be located in Jyväskylä, Vantaa, Raisio or Tampere.
The program last 5 months, starting April 1st and end August 30th. Your will start with a one-month introduction working parttime and then continuing working fulltime until end of August. During the introduction you will get familiar with your department and tasks and time for trainings and group work.
Your tasks include, for example coordinating, developing, planning, monitoring and controlling projects with Valmet professionals. In this trainee program you will gain a lot of experience in project management field, and you will learn how Valmet as a global company executes complex, international projects.
If you are interested in a dynamic career in international project execution, this is the trainee program you shouldn’t miss. During the program you get to work for example Junior Sales Engineer, Junior Project Engineer, Junior Project Planner, Junior Purchaser, Junior Project Coordinator or Junior Development Engineer. Your tasks will depend on your experience and the department where you will be working. But all roles will be related to Valmet Project work!
