The opportunity We’re looking for a Valuation Governance Manager to lead the day‑to‑day execution of valuation governance controls and second‑line challenge across unlisted and complex assets. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Valuation Governance, this role plays a critical part in ensuring valuations are fair, timely, well‑evidenced and accurately reflected in NAV and crediting rate processes, supporting member equity and regulatory confidence. You’ll work closely with Investments, Finance, Operations, the custodian and external valuers, and contribute valuation and governance reporting to senior management, the Board and key Committees. Key aspects of the role include: Executing and uplifting the Valuation Governance Framework, policies and standards Independently reviewing and challenging valuations, assumptions and methodologies Leading price challenge processes and off‑cycle valuation reviews during market or asset‑specific events Partnering with Finance and Unit Pricing to ensure accurate member pricing outcomes Coordinating external valuers and reviewing manager valuation packs Producing high‑quality reporting and insights for management and Committees Supporting audit, regulatory reviews and ongoing governance improvements About you You’re a technically strong and confident professional who enjoys working at the intersection of investments, governance and risk. You bring a constructive challenge mindset and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
