Independent Valuation Assessment: Conduct Independent Price Verification (IPV) for a diverse global portfolio, utilizing external data sources and financial models. This includes both vanilla and exotic structured derivatives across asset classes such as fixed income, commodities, equities, and investments. Ensure compliance with fair value accounting by certifying models and their valuation methodologies. Work closely with model developers to review and enhance valuation and risk models. Analyse pricing factors in complex financial products and assess the impact of market movements on the portfolio and the firm. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the valuation control infrastructure, aiming for global and cross-product standardization. A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline provides a background in theoretical and practical aspects of financial concepts and market dynamics. Familiarity with main financial products, their market context, and associated risks enables effective participation in the financial sector and informed decision-making based on market trends and risk assessments. Proficiency in VBA, Python, or similar programming languages benefits automation, data analysis, and financial modeling.
