Description

We are looking for an experienced Strategy/Value Consultant who is highly analytical and collaborative to join and help scale Tipalti’s Value Engineering function. This is an exciting, strategic role that combines value selling, consulting, and program management.
As a Senior Value Engineer, you’ll partner closely with Solutions Consultants, Sales, and Marketing to define and articulate the business value of Tipalti’s platform. You will build and maintain ROI models, perform customer and industry analyses, support sales engagements with compelling business cases, and help enable the field to adopt and execute value-based selling strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Consulting, Sales, Marketing) and prospective customers to identify key business drivers and quantify the impact of Tipalti’s solutions through ROI/TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models.
  • Build, own and maintain financial and operational value models.
  • Support active sales opportunities by crafting tailored business cases and executive-ready value proposals.
  • Conduct industry and account-level research to inform strategic sales planning.
  • Benchmark existing Tipalti customers to identify and document realized value.
  • Develop impactful sales enablement materials, including presentation templates, case studies, and value collateral.
  • Drive knowledge management initiatives: maintain an organized library of assets, benchmarks, and customer examples.
  • Analyze data collected from pre- and post-sales engagements to refine use cases and improve future value modeling efforts.
  • Coach sales teams on value selling methodologies and usage of our value platform.
  • Liaise with platform vendors to optimize tool usage and integrations with internal workflows.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the Customer Value Program.
