Company Overview  GTI Energy operates in a contract manufacturing and industrial manufacturing environment focused on system integration of mechanical, electrical, and structural components. Our high-mix, engineered-to-order production model requires strong operational leadership across Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and value stream optimization. Position Overview  The Value Stream Manager Assembly owns end-to-end performance across assembly and system integration operations. This role is responsible for managing flow across multiple production lines, driving improvements in throughput, First Pass Yield (FPY), cycle time, and takt time, and ensuring on-time delivery in a contract manufacturing environment. The Value Stream Manager is accountable for eliminating constraints, improving process stability, and scaling Lean Manufacturing practices across the entire value stream. Key Responsibilities Value Stream Ownership & Operational Leadership  • Own full assembly value stream performance, from material release through final system integration  • Lead Value Stream Supervisors and Production Supervisors across multiple production lines  • Manage flow across the value stream, including WIP, bottlenecks, and throughput constraints  • Ensure alignment between production schedules, material flow, and Bill of Materials (BOM) execution Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement  • Lead plant-level Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement programs  • Apply Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies to drive  sustained improvements  • Improve throughput, cycle time, and takt time at scale across multiple assembly lines  • Standardize processes and implement best practices across the value stream KPI Ownership & Performance Management  • Own key performance metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), throughput, cycle time, takt time, inventory turns, safety, quality, and on-time delivery  • Drive improvements in FPY and reduce rework across system integration operations  • Ensure ISO9001 compliance and consistent quality execution across the value stream  • Establish performance accountability across supervisors and production teams Cross-Functional Execution  • Partner with Engineering to resolve design and integration challenges impacting production flow  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure material readiness and inventory performance  • Work with Quality to drive corrective actions and improve product quality  • Align with Program Management to meet production schedules and delivery commitments Leadership & Organizational Development  • Develop and lead Value Stream Supervisors and production leadership  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and Continuous Improvement  • Strengthen leadership capability across the value stream to support operational scale Required Qualifications  • 7–12 years of experience in Value Stream Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Production Manager roles  • Experience in contract manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environments  • Strong background in assembly, system integration, and production operations  • Proven experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma initiatives Preferred Qualifications  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field  • Experience with automation, electro-mechanical systems, or modular manufacturing  • Strong background in structured problem solving and process optimization
