Description
Drive the company's vision and mission by reinforcing Ethics, Values and Quality policies throughout the site. Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement. Fully engage workforce and promote personal accountability by identifying goals, and empowering employees to drive decision making. Foster innovation and promote continuous learning by providing formal and informal feedback on employee performance. Partner with supply chain to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution. Provide leadership and support to direct reports to discuss expectations, progress of work, and resolution of problems to ensure that the site operational objectives are met. Ensure all policies, procedures, practices and operational standards are effectively communicated to the entire Operations team. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Operations/Manufacturing OR High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years experience in Operations/Manufacturing. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Master's degree or MBA from an accredited institution. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing leadership role. Extensive experience with Lean manufacturing tools and principles. Management and leadership experience in a cross-functional environment. Working knowledge of business systems, manufacturing supply chain, accounting systems, industrial engineering, and manufacturing operations and processes. Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes (safety, environmental, assembly, gauging, AS9100). Ability to plan and schedule manufacturing workloads to support the sales and inventory.
