CENTRELAND GROUP, a company specializing in industrial and commercial property development as well as boutique luxury projects in Melbourne, is now seeking a full-time Valuer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of land and property, apply appropriate valuation methods, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Provide professional advice on property valuation and financing matters to support development and investment projects.
  • Research and analyze the optimal use of land and property, considering planning regulations, market demand, and investment potential.
  • Calculate property values by factoring in market conditions, asset conditions, and projected trends.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to assess the financial impact of refurbishment, reconfiguration, or space optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure all valuation activities comply with professional standards, licensing requirements, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality of valuation data.
  • Deliver timely, evidence-based valuation insights to assist senior management in informed decision-making.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Property, Land Economics, Valuation, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant qualifications.
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in property or land valuation, preferably within the real estate development or asset management sector.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conducting property inspections, applying valuation methodologies, and preparing detailed valuation reports.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to interpret market data, assess property conditions, and forecast value trends.
  • Have knowledge of property legislation, planning regulations, and relevant industry standards.
  • Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting valuation findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Salary range: $78k to $98k per annum plus all statutory welfares.
