Job Description Our highly regarded Valuation & Advisory Services hotels team are looking for a Valuer to be based in our Brisbane CBD office. As a key member of Colliers’ Valuation & Advisory Services team, you will provide detailed valuation advice across the hotel and accommodation asset class including with opportunities to specialise other non-traditional asset classes such student accommodation, build to rent and pubs. You will have direct access to a national team of valuation experts, who will help you map out a clear career path, find your niche and build your expertise. Our best-in-class platforms will help you deliver services that exceed client expectations, and our dedicated marketing and communications specialist will work with you from day one to ensure you reach your full potential as an industry expert. Key Responsibilities: Provide a specialised property valuation and inspection service within established parameters Produce quality and timely valuation reports Property valuation focusing on own sector / market Maintain commercial property market awareness Extract and appropriately analyse comparable transaction evidence Work with other product lines to complete valuation work for mutual clients Seek and refer opportunities to other geographic locations and product lines Actively participate in product line and office meetings, seminars, and workshops Attend client and industry events to interact with clients and peer and gain market and business knowledge industry contacts Meet individual budgeted revenue on a monthly basis Complete necessary documentation to enable timely and accurate invoicing Qualifications To be successful you will need the following: Property related degree Certified Practicing Valuer accreditation Minimum of 8 years’ experience in property valuation industry Membership with the Australian Property Institute (or ability to gain membership within 6 months) Valid Australian drivers’ licence Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills Superior numerical analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities Commercial awareness of the formulation and implementation of strategy Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that supports sound business decisions Show property risk awareness and adhere to and understand our in-house quality assurance methodology Colliers Assure The ability to build relationships with key internal and external contacts Additional Information Please apply with your CV or call Kate Dobbie - Associate Director | Careers on 07 3026 3309 for more information.
