JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Valve Engineer I to join our New Product Development team. The successful candidate will assist in designing and developing new product lines, including gate valves for slurry severe service, trunnion ball valves metal seated API 6D for severe service high temperature and high cycling, and API 6A ball valves rated at 15,000 psi. This role requires a foundational understanding of valve engineering principles and industry codes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in valve design and development
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Basic knowledge of industry codes such as API 6D, API 6A, MSS-SP-81, and ASME codes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Assist in the design and development of new valve products.Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications
• Support prototype development and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
• May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
