Job Description Job Title: Valve Service Manager Job Type: Permanent Hours: 40 Job Location: Immingham Salary Up to £55k DOE SGS is seeking an experienced and driven Valve Service Manager to lead our Valve Services team in Immingham. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of high-value services, while driving profitability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the Valve Services team to ensure safe and profitable service delivery. Ensure all work complies with client instructions, industry standards, and SGS protocols. Support the Operations Manager in meeting revenue and profitability targets. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to meet financial, quality, and safety objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary interface for planning and scheduling. Ensure accurate pricing and regular contract reviews to maintain profitability and client satisfaction. Monitor scope compliance, risk mitigation, and health & safety adherence. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to grow the service offering and explore new opportunities. Stay informed about market trends and adjust service capabilities accordingly. Experience: Proven experience managing valve services or similar industrial service teams. Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and operational best practices. Financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and performance targets. Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills. Qualifications Essential HNC / HND in a mechanical engineering discipline. Full and valid driving license for UK IOSH Managing Safely.
