Job Description Job Title: Valve Technician Job Type: Permanent Hours: 40 Monday – Friday 9 – 5.30pm Job Location: Field Based - Immingham As a Valve Technician, your primary responsibilities will include the inspection, repair, maintenance, testing, and certification of various types of valves and actuators. This role requires you to work with system control valves, pressure and safety relief valves, isolation valves, and regulating valves. Your work will be conducted both at the workshop facility in Immingham and on client sites, which could be onshore or offshore. Key Responsibilities: Inspection & Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain valves and actuators to ensure they are operating effectively and safely. Repair & Testing: Carry out repairs and perform rigorous testing to certify that all equipment meets the required standards. Client Liaison: Work closely with clients, suppliers, and third parties to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction. Site Work: Operate both in the workshop and at various client sites, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring all work is documented according to company procedures. Qualifications You need to have experience and strengths in valve repair and certification. Ideally, you will be apprentice trained, coupled with practical experience in the field of valve overhaul, repair, and certification.
