Overview Provides transportation for clients, performs routine maintenance on vehicle and submits required reports. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT High school education; or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT No additional experience is required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee nation underwriting rating. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid and have completed a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention course. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Ability to speak Cherokee a plus. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Responsibilities
The primary duty involves providing transportation services for clients while ensuring routine maintenance is performed on the assigned vehicle. The employee is also responsible for submitting all necessary required reports.
