At Powerhouse Hire, we specialise in DJ Equipment, Speakers, Lighting and Staging Hire for events. We are currently seeking a skilled Driver/Event Crew to join our dynamic team.

• Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.

• Load and unload cargo from the van.
• Ensure all items are securely fastened and protected during transportation.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher.
• Work closely with other crew members to coordinate and execute seamless setups.

• Inspect and maintain the van, including checking fuel levels and tire pressures and report any vehicle malfunctions.

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients

• Requirements:

• Valid UK driver’s license (at least 2 years) and a clean driving record.

• You must be over 25 (insurance policy).
• Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver on long wheelbase van.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo from the van.

• Knowledge of flatbeds, warehouse operations, and mechanical equipment is desirable but not essential.

Night time rate 21-22£ per hour
