VAN DRIVER – BASINGSTOKE

Forte Recruitment are looking for an experienced 3.5ton Van Drivers with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
The role is based in Basingstoke and will involve completing multiple deliveries to customers premises in and around the South of the UK, including London.

The successful Van Driver will need to demonstrate the following traits and experience:

• Full UK Driving Licence

The successful Van Driver will be required to undertake the following duties:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne (CAT B) vehicle to deliver goods via various delivery routes
• Assist colleagues by helping to load and unload their vehicles daily
• Complete daily run sheets and carry out daily vehicle checks
• Report any defects to the vehicle to your Line Manager
• Meeting multiple customers
• Checking and confirming delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork
• Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles and warehouse
• Carry out stock checks
• Replenish stock
• Pick & Pack Orders
• Heavy lifting required
