JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
  • Experience operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous but not essential.

  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for safe transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.
