Van Driver We are looking for a responsible Van Driver to safely drive a box truck to make deliveries to customers on route in the order assigned by the routing department. Ultimately, you will make recovery deliveries and treat customers with courtesy, patience, and respect. Apply at: http://www.nicholasandco.com/join-our-team [http://www.nicholasandco.com/join-our-team] Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION Pay: Be discussed in interview Responsibilities: * Complete monthly safety refreshers. * Collect, sign, and correctly code all invoices. * Sign check off and route sheet and turn into immediate supervisor. * Check invoices for credit terms at each delivery stop and collect funds where needed. * Turn in reconciliation sheet along with collected funds and all invoices to Returns Clerk in daily. * Safely drive van to make deliveries to customers on route in the order assigned by the routing department. * Demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving skills, report customer issues immediately. * Put product away as the customer requires and follow up within 24 hours on all customer needs and requests. * Address any discrepancies with load or invoices prior to leaving the warehouse and immediately report delays to supervisor. * Obey all traffic rules, complete thorough pre and post trip inspections, and immediately report any accidents or damage; keep equipment clean and report any vehicle repair issues immediately. Requirements: * At least 21 years of age. * Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. * At least one year of box truck or large commercial vehicle driving experience. * Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
