Our Client are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual to join their team as a Van Driver with Store Experience. This dual role involves safely delivering building materials to our customers and assisting with in-store operations. You’ll be expected to provide excellent customer service both on the road and in-store, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and have a positive experience when they visit our store.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Full, clean driving license (van driving experience required).
• Previous store experience is preferred, ideally in a building supplies or similar environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.
• Basic knowledge of building materials is an advantage, but not essential.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work well in a team.

VAN DRIVER DUTIES:

• Safely drive a company van to deliver building supplies to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Load and unload products, ensuring the safe and secure delivery of goods.
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork and keep track of delivery schedules.
• Perform regular vehicle checks and ensure the van is in good working order.
• Represent the company in a professional manner, offering excellent customer service during deliveries.

STORE EXPERIENCE DUTIES:

• Assist with customer inquiries and provide advice on products in-store.
• Help with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and stocked with products.
• Assist in processing sales, orders, and payments at the counter.
• Provide support to the store team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
