VAN LINING FITTER/ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE – 4-DAY WEEK

CoolKit’s products include van conversions and insulated box bodies, a range of ready-converted vans, and bodywork in kit-form. All of these are designed and manufactured in-house. The range of Melform portable refrigerators for small and partial loads completes the line-up. CoolKit has recently pioneered conversions for electrically powered vehicles (EVs), addressing the challenges of payload, range and safety that this type of vehicles present. All these products are supported by a network of specialist mobile technicians dedicated to maximising uptime.
Employing a valued team of more than 140, CoolKit’s 100,000 square feet workshops enable up to 60 vans to be worked on simultaneously, facilitating output of more than 2,000 converted units per annum for markets in both the UK and overseas.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/QUALITIES

  • Competent using power tools along with hand tools such as sealant application guns.
  • Experience in a fitting or fabricating environment
  • Quick learner, capable of following instructions with the ability to demonstrate an appropriate consideration for health and safety
  • Follow all waste management procedures
  • Work within a safe manner, following all HSE policies, procedures and legislation
  • Maintain quality standards with finished products
  • Other commercial vehicle experience desirable
