JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are a well-established general trading company specializing in the foodstuff sector and currently seeking to hire two experienced Van Salesmen to join our dynamic sales team. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base along Sharjah and Dubai routes, ensuring timely delivery of products, and achieving sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Van Salesman in the foodstuff industry within the UAE, particularly in Sharjah and Dubai.
  • Good knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Language proficiency in Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages like English or Arabic is an advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license (Manual preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of invoicing, receipts, and inventory handling.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a sales-driven attitude.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of van sales experience in foodstuff/general trading.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or business is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Drive company van across assigned routes in Sharjah and Dubai to deliver foodstuff products to retailers, groceries, supermarkets, and other clients.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of foodstuff items, ensuring optimal product availability and visibility at customer locations.
  • Maintain and expand the existing client base by building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Ensure accurate cash collection and reconciliation of invoices and payments.
  • Monitor stock levels in the van and coordinate with the warehouse for timely replenishments.
  • Report daily sales and collections to the Sales Supervisor.
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities in the foodstuff industry.
  • Follow company protocols for delivery, hygiene, and customer interaction.
