LCV TECHNICIAN

Location: Swindon
Basic salary up to £39,500 DOE (includes shift allowance)
OTE up to £50,000 | Overtime paid at time and a half
40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30

SATURDAYS PAID AT OVERTIME RATE

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and qualified LCV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle operation in Swindon. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out diagnostics, inspections, servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles (vans)
  • Completing planned maintenance and identifying potential faults before they develop
  • Working with the workshop team to plan and execute repairs
  • Using workshop systems to record all work accurately (Keyloop/Kerridge familiarity a bonus)
  • Completing warranty paperwork and ensuring vehicle documentation is correct
  • Carrying out wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and road testing vehicles post-repair

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (LCV or Car considered)
  • Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles
  • Strong fault-finding skills and mechanical knowledge
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high standards under pressure
  • Resilience, motivation, and great time management
