Job DetailsJob Location: Vaqueros - Allen, TX 75013Job Shift: AnyJob Category: Restaurant - Food Service Summary of Position: Greet all guests upon arrival, provide excellent customer service with an upbeat personality and warm smile. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Duties & Responsibilities: Greet guest upon arrival and thank them as they leave. Must be able to process cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring accurate calculation of bills and change for guests. Cashiers must efficiently handle incoming orders, accurately input into the point-of-sale (POS) system, and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation. Familiarity with the restaurant's menu offerings, including meats and accompanying sides, to effectively describe items and recommend additional purchases to enhance the guest dining experience. Answer phone and provide superior customer service. Prioritize important tasks and manage time effectively. Maintain a clean, neat, stocked work area. Assist in setting up and maintaining beverage and dessert areas at cashier station. Pour Alcoholic Beverages Serve desserts and sides as necessary. Clean restaurant dining areas when assigned. Complete additional tasks assigned by management team. Have reliable transportation. Some restaurant experience a plus. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Must be a team player and work in fast paced environment. Have a valid Alcohol Server and Food Handlers Certification Preferred Qualifications: Ability to speak Spanish a plus. Previous experience working in a BBQ restaurant.
