Variety Trial Officer / Agronomist - VERONA

Agripiù, business unit of Lavoropiù, is looking for an Agronomic Technician in charge of the implementation of breeding, conducting variety trials (mainly lettuce, zucchini, and tomatoes), and the development of relationships within the vegetable industry, for a multinational seed company.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the breeding and develop trials
• Coordination of field activities, and recruits temporary workers or Interns
• Drafting productions reports
• Contract management and scouting for new plots of land
• Support the sales accounts, implementing showcases and help undertake demonstrations and presentations of the products

Regions of interest: Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto

Requirements:

• Degree in Agriculture
• Proficiency in English for communication with the headquarters
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake daily travel within Italy and occasional international trips
• Strong interpersonal skills and an analytical mindset suitable for R&;D activities
• Ability to work independently
