Description Aurora Central Catholic High School seeks a Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach to join a growing Athletic department committed to seeing student-athletes succeed in all their endeavors. Qualifications - Experience, Skills & Knowledge • Bachelor’s degree • Head coach experience, ideally in a high school, college, or university setting. • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. • Team-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative. • Ability to represent the school and program in a professional and enthusiastic manner to on and off campus constituencies. • Knowledge of social media and methods of program promotion. Requirements Responsibilities Reporting to the Athletic Director, the Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach will be responsible for the following: • Supervises and operates all phases of a competitive flag football program. • Plans, organizers and administers all in-season practice sessions. • Oversee the issuing and collecting of all equipment, uniforms, supplies, and materials. • Create an environment that encourages participation and implements methods to grow flag football program in its first year starting fall of 2026. • Maintains positive public relations with the community through an assortment of events including camps and clinics. • Demonstrates a working knowledge of IHSA rules and regulations. • Supports the mission, vision, and values of Aurora Central Catholic High School and the Rockford Archdiocese. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach will supervise and operate all phases of the competitive flag football program, including planning and administering practice sessions. They will also oversee equipment management and maintain positive community relations through events.
