The Role What you will do: The main duties of the role as VAT Manager include: Leading the delivery of complex, high-quality VAT advisory projects, including land and property, international transactions, partial exemption, and diligence work. Providing technical guidance on VAT compliance, planning, and structuring. Assisting with the delivery of complex VAT compliance services to clients including review of department compliance work undertaken by the team. Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities to assist with driving business growth and client development. Day to day management of client relationships and providing ad hoc advice through proactive communication and exceptional service. Delivery of VAT advisory assignments as a member of our multi-disciplinary advisory groups. Proactive identification of opportunities to deliver additional value to clients. Coaching and developing junior members of the team on compliance and advisory matters. As part of the tax management team, collectively lead compliance operations and process improvement to enhance efficiency.
