SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous administrative experience with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with MS office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel Publisher and Adobe
  • GCSEs including Maths and English Language at Level 5 (B grade using the old system), or equivalent
  • Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with people at all levels (internal and external)

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role will assist our clients with registrations and deregistration for VAT - GST in multiple EU and Non-EU countries, including applying for import licence, or deferment, and updating TAX authorities of any change to clients’ records when applicable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the initial AML (Anti Money Laundering) checks.
  • File applications and submit documents, as well as liaise with relevant tax offices and clients.
  • Update monitoring data sheets and VAT team tracker.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and clients in writing and verbally.
  • Handle incoming post, communicate with clients and draft responses (for review) as applicable.
  • Inform relevant tax authorities of any changes of the company’s information (address, directors etc.)
  • Follow internal policies and procedures.
  • Help with ad hoc tasks as and when required.
