Job Description:

AS VDC COORDINATOR, YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO:

• Facilitate with the startup and implementation of the VDC process on a project level with the assistance, guidance and oversight of management
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Construction Managers to develop a project specific process for utilizing or creating 3D information for the purpose of estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling, coordination, field layout and/or facilitates management

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

• Minimum of 1 or more experience as a VDC Coordinator in the construction industry
• A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology or a combination of education and construction industry experience
• Drafting and 3D Modeling experience, which could include AutoCAD and Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Synchro, Navisworks or 3D Studio Max
• Ability to translate 2D drawings and specifications into a complete 3D Building Information Model (BIM)
• Experience with 4D Scheduling would be a benefit
• Civil, Structural, Mechanical modelling experience is considered an asset.
