As an Intermediate to Senior Vegetation and Wetland Ecologist, we invite you to join our biophysical team to engage on a wide variety of multi-disciplinary projects for our long-term clients spanning many market sectors. Klohn Crippen Berger’s biophysical team works closely with our geoscientists and engineers to deliver environmental and regulatory support for projects throughout Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize your knowledge of vegetation community and wetland characterization, impact and effects assessments, mitigation management, and habitat reclamation to obtain regulatory permits and approvals
  • Collaborate with our talented professionals across multiple disciplines to plan projects, implement environmentally sustainable and innovative designs, manage contractors, and coordinate with regulatory agencies
  • Be the subject matter expert providing high-value technical services to develop positive relationships with our key clients, both internal and external to the organization
  • Plan and execute field programs in local and remote sites
  • Prepare and review technical reports
  • Develop project proposals and budgets
  • Participate in our global environmental social governance, joint health and safety, or a local social committee
  • Travel throughout Canada
    If you have 6 or more years of applicable experience conducting environmental assessments, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree specializing in Soil Science, Botany, Ecology, Biology or Environmental Sciences, a solid understanding of vegetation ecology and wetland science, and are registered or qualify to be registered as a P.Biol. or P.Ag. and an Authenticating Wetland Professional, we want to connect with you!
