JOB DESCRIPTION

We are based in the East Midlands, Leicester but operate throughout the UK providing vehicle security and vehicle modifications for retail and trade clients.
We are constantly growing and are looking to expand our team of technicians to help us keep up the pace. The ideal candidate will have experience In Vehicle Diagnostics, Auto Electrics and fitting vehicle accessories, vehicle trackers & security systems.
Ideally, candidates will have a thorough understanding of auto electrics & vehicle accessories as listed below and have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and with a variety of tools and work within set time frames.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge in the automotive industry. Ideally, candidates will have experience in Auto Electrics, but additional training will be provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Diagnose & repair vehicle electrical issues & basic mechanical faults
• Use various tools to complete repairs efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems
• Install various vehicle accessories and security systems
• Install, vehicle trackers, alarms & immobilisers
• Install/upgrade vehicle audio systems, for example; speakers, amps, subwoofers etc
• Install/upgrade vehicle entertainment systems
• Install Van locks and additional security systems
• Install Van accessories & lighting
• Install 4X4 & PickUp Accessories
• Speak to customers in-store regarding their requirements.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous Experience In the Auto Electrics/Automotive Industry
• Strong Vehicle Electrics & Basic Mechanical Knowledge and Know-How
• Proficiency In Using Hand & Power Tools And Tools To Assist In Auto Electrics
• Ability To Perform Heavy Lifting Tasks
• Strong Vehicle Accessories Knowledge & Know-How
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills & Attention To Detail
• DBS Check
