VEHICLE BODY BUILDER / VEHICLE ACCESSORY FITTER NEEDED – FULL-TIME POSITION

Amtek is an Australian owned and operated company, we specialise in building customised, engineered vehicle solutions for a range of government and private clients including Ambulance service, Police, Disability access, Fire and Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools and many more.
We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Body Builders / Vehicle Accessory Fitters to work in our production in Ravenhall, VIC.
New dynamic company building the latest emergency and specialised vehicles. Work is clean in modern facility and involves significant vehicle conversions.

• Assist to assemble a wide range of purpose-built vehicles
• Assembly and fitting of vehicle accessories such as side steps, seating flooring, handrails, light bars etc
• Assist in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader’s instruction, including general labouring and specific tasks to assist the team and Team Leader
• Assist in the repairs and maintenance of products

The successful candidate will need to be motivated, self-driven, reliable, genuine and committed. You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail.

• Qualification in Vehicle Body Building / Manufacturing and/or relevant industry experience preferred
• Working to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality workmanship.
• Working a variety of tasks using hand tools and power tools
• Working well independently whilst being part of a team
