SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in vehicle body building, trailer assembly, or similar trade.
• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology, Engineering – Fabrication Trade, or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Welding, fabrication, or fitting skills highly regarded.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and repairing mechanical and structural components for trailers and ute trays, ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble chassis, axles, suspensions, brakes, hydraulic systems, lights, and other trailer/ute tray components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Modify and fabricate components to meet design requirements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults or defective components.
• Conduct quality checks, functional testing, and final inspections.
• Assist with after-sales servicing, warranty repairs, and maintenance work.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and company safety procedures.
